Fancy dress ideas needed :-S

My daughter (aged 11) is going to a fancy dress party, with the theme of
"famous people". I am so rubbish at this sort of thing! We thought Amy
Winehouse, but are having difficulty on the hair front! Does anybody have
any other ideas??

Nurses outfit with lamp-Florence Nightingale
Dorothy from Wizard of Oz (it could be a famous fictional person)
Laura Ingles Wilder (long dress with pinafore and hair in plaits)
Carry a diary for 1943(?) and be Anne Frank
Ballet outfit-Anna Pavlova
Wear shorts and a cap with hair tucked inside and jumper-George from famous
five (she could find 4 other friends to join her and make the whole set)
Long blue dress, teatowel round head, carry swaddled doll-Mary (and Jesus)
1930s frock and curly hair-Shirley Temple
