Had a letter from school about the tetanus etc jab which son is due.
Not a problem with that at all.
But a second letter saying he's not had all his doses of MMR and needs
a jab for that. I'm pretty certain he's had both (Am just about to
ring docs and check) - so does he need another? Is it standard just to
say all kids need another dose even if they don't?

What age is he?
I think they get them at 12 months, 4years and 14years don't they?
I'd check with the doctors anyway because I know when we had our school jabs
they assumed you hadn't had any so issued the letters accordingly. You had a
space on the form to tick if you'd already received it.

We got a form and a letter about these jabs, just before half term.

The letter said that the MMR "will be administered to those Year 10
students, who according to our records, have not had two doses of the MMR".

The form had spaces to tick all the injections they had had ie the ones
as a baby/toddler. It also had another space where I think you ticked
the injections you wanted them to have.

FWIW, the letter was a standardized letter.
